2014 Accord Sedan

The 2014 Honda Accord has been fully redesigned from the ground up to deliver new levels of refinement, sophistication, fuel efficiency and fun-to-drive performance in the midsize segment.

Every new Accord is equipped with alloy wheels, and standard features now also include a rearview camera, an Expanded View Driver's Mirror,  Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink®, USB/iPod® integration, Pandora® internet radio compatibility, SMS text message function, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 160-watt AM/FM/CD audio system.

The luxurious and technology-packed Accord Touring is equipped with a powerful V-6 engine and 6-speed automatic transmission. Equipped with Honda's first application of LED headlights and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), the Accord Touring sedan is priced with a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $33,430 plus a destination and handling charge.

185-hp, 2.4-Liter, 16-Valve, Earth Dreams DOHC i-VTEC^® 4-Cylinder Engine

The 2014 Accord lineup is powered by a wide array of new Earth Dreams powertrains, which includes the first U.S. application of Honda's next-generation 2.4-liter direct-injected VTEC 4-cylinder engine. The 2014 Accord Sedan and Coupe will also offer a more powerful and efficient Earth Dreams VTEC V-6. Three transmissions are available, including the first-ever application of a continuously variable transmission (CVT) on 2.4-liter 4-cylinder models, a six-speed automatic on V-6 models, and 6-speed manual transmissions on 2.4-liter 4-cylinder models and the 3.5-liter V-6 Coupe. 

Efficiency that's on the button

With a push of the ECON button, your Accord automatically adjusts its engine and other auxiliary systems to go from efficient to ultra-efficient. That way, you get the most bang for your gas station buck.

Lane Watch blind spot display

The innovative new Honda Lane Watch feature* provides an enhanced view of your passenger's side blind spot. A camera mounted on the passenger side mirror increases your viewing angle up to 80 degrees, allowing you to see two lanes of traffic from as far as 50 meters behind on your dashboard screen. The feature also lets you spot smaller objects like small children, bicycles and motorcycles when changing lanes or making right turns. LaneWatch is standard equipment on EX and above versions of the Sedan, and EX-L versions of the Coupe.

Lane Departure Warning system

The available Lane Departure Warning (LDW) system* is yet another new Honda innovation, and the Accord is first to feature it. Using an onboard camera to monitor your vehicle's lane position, employing audible and visual alerts to tell you if you're inadvertently drifting out of your lane without using a turn signal.

Forward Collision Warning system

The available Forward Collision Warning (FCW) system* is a Honda first and a cutting-edge technology feature. The system uses an onboard camera to determine if the gap between you and the vehicle ahead is closing too quickly. If you're approaching with too much speed, the system uses audible and visual alerts so you can reduce your speed. In the Accord, it's that much easier to stay aware of what's ahead of you.

HondaLink with audio touch screen

Other new Accord technologies include the first application of the all-new cloud-based HondaLink system featuring Aha, which lets drivers put away their smartphones and still stay connected to the people, music and social media they love.

HondaLink reduces driver distraction by allowing users to put the phone away, yet remain in touch with the outside world. It connects drivers to a robust selection of cloud-based media, all controlled through voice recognition, your audio touch screen or conveniently placed steering wheel-mounted audio controls. Simply download the HondaLink app featuring Aha Radio, connect your compatible smartphone through the USB device connector or Bluetooth^® and you'll have access to internet music services, podcasts, audio books, restaurant recommendations, social networks, and more.

Celebrating 30 years of Accord production in the United States, the all-new 2014 Honda represents the expanding capabilities of Honda in North America. The Accord is produced by Honda of America Mfg. Inc. in Marysville, Ohio, using domestic and globally sourced parts. Its engines are produced at Honda plants in Anna, Ohio and the transmissions are produced at Russells Point, Ohio, and in Tallapoosa, Georgia. The Marysville Auto Plant earned a Silver Plant Quality Award from J.D. Power and Associates in its 2012 Initial Quality Study.
